Nowadays, I feel like most of the time we are problem solving, trying to retain as much production value as possible. With Rebekah & Amy and their incredible crew, it didn’t feel like that at all. In fact, it was quite the opposite. They brought a hands on approach that was contagious, along with a real eye for detail that made the sets look stunning and a few good laughs along the way. An all round treat for a director.
Lord Whitney are not your average design team: within the space of just a few years, this unique partnership between trained graphic designers Amy Lord and Rebekah Whitney has carved out an eye-catching niche within the worlds of set design, art direction and prop making
Channelling the classic British wit and whimsy of Roald Dahl, Victorian sideshows and eccentric aristocrats; the Leeds-based duo have a bright future of madness, absurdity and brilliance ahead of them
There’s such a great sense of fun and playfulness to Amy and Rebekah’s work, which has totally drawn us in. They’re versatile too, working across a whole range of creative areas from set-design, prop-making and styling to collaborate photography projects
